Two people, one scene
See who else is in the scene while you’re editing it. If you both save, PropsHub merges the changes instead of overwriting one of you — and asks when it genuinely can’t decide.
The set-dressing list, the prop list and continuity’s notes stop being three different documents when they’re one film in PropsHub — and everyone with access sees the same scene at the same time.
You’re usually the one who notices the sofa in continuity’s photos isn’t the sofa on this week’s dressing list. Everyone else is working from their own sheet — art department’s, props’, continuity’s — and by the time anyone compares them, the scene has already shot.
PropsHub doesn’t give each department its own copy. It gives the film one list, and everyone with access to that film reads and edits the same one.
Redress the kitchen with four instead of two, and the count is 10 as soon as the scene is saved — for everyone, not just whoever typed it.

Explicit read or write per person and per group. Give props write access, give a client read-only, on the same film.
Scenes carry location, INT/EXT, time of day, cast, status and notes — the way a breakdown actually works.
One card per scene, prop table and open tasks included, printable or emailable to whoever’s dressing it.
Shoot days laid out as a calendar. Click a day, land on the scene.
Every label, placeholder and status term. Useful the moment a department speaks a different first language.
You’d find this out in week one anyway. Better you hear it from us.
You break scenes down in PropsHub; it won’t read your screenplay and do it for you.
If that’s the job you need done, Filmustage and StudioBinder both do it well.
You can read the whole production offline. You can’t yet write offline — that’s the next big piece of work.
No stripboard, no call sheets, no crew database. PropsHub is the props binder, not the production office.
PropsHub is invite-only while we onboard the first productions by hand. Tell us about yours and we’ll set it up with you.
