02 · The problem
Five spreadsheets. None of them agree.
You’re usually the one who notices the sofa in continuity’s photos isn’t the sofa on this week’s dressing list. Everyone else is working from their own sheet — art department’s, props’, continuity’s — and by the time anyone compares them, the scene has already shot.
PropsHub doesn’t give each department its own copy. It gives the film one list, and everyone with access to that film reads and edits the same one.

You break down the scene. The list does the arithmetic.

No script import
You break scenes down in PropsHub; it won’t read your screenplay and do it for you.
If that’s the job you need done, Filmustage and StudioBinder both do it well.
No offline editing
You can read the whole production offline. You can’t yet write offline — that’s the next big piece of work.
No scheduling or budgeting
No stripboard, no call sheets, no crew database. PropsHub is the props binder, not the production office.
